Nordic Musics: Nation, Environment, Magic

As part of the international conference “” happening in 51 20-21 March 2017, Deichman will host an event with presentations by music researchers Stéphane Aubinet and Tore Størvold from The University of 51 and Nina Nielsen from the Norwegian Academy of Music, followed by a live performance by .   

is free of charge and open to everyone with a love of music! We will hear three talks, spanning musical genres and geographic locations:

Performing Dreamland: Musical Responses to Environmental Debates in Iceland

The talks will be followed by Q&A sessions, and we hope this event will encourage inspiring discussions on all aspects of Nordic music. Because this is part of an international conference, the talks will be given in English.
