I cannot find my team in Teams:

If you are experiencing the following:

  • Your team is not displayed in the overview
  • You do not have access to a team even though you have been added as a member
  • You see a different Teams view than expected

Reasoning:
You are most likely logged in with the wrong account. It's common to have several accounts (i.e. UiO, private Outlook or Gmail account), and can therefore be logged in as a "wrong user."

Solution:

  • Check the top righthand corner to see what account is active.
  • Logout if needed, and login with the email address the Teams invitation was sent to.
  • Close Teams completely and open it again (this is especially important in the desktop app).

Tips (optional):
In the online version of Teams you can be logged into several accounts simultaneously in different web browser tabs or profiles.
